Installing TrueType Fonts

(Windows 95, 98, ME, NT)

To use the font, you will need to follow each step.

Please back up all your fonts to prevent Replacement charges!

Step 1:

WinZip
You will need WinZip to unzip any PC Compressed files. If you don't have WinZip, you can download the free Evaluation version at http://www.winzip.com. Please do this before going to step 2. If you are not sure how to use WinZip, use the Help button on the WinZip once that it is installed.

Step 2:

Extracting the Font from WinZip:

  1. Double Click on the .zip font file.
    This will launch WinZip
  2. Click “I Agree”
  3. Click Extract
  4. Type in “Fonts.com” after the c:\
  5. Click Extract
  6. The font should be in a folder named “Fonts.com” on the C drive
 

Step 3:

Installing Fonts:

  1. Click on the  button, roll your mouse over Settings, then click on Control Panel

    (On XP OS go to  then click on Control Panel)

  2. In the Control panel window Double Click on the Fonts Folder

  3. In the Fonts folder window, click on the File button (top left) –> then click on Install new fonts
  4. In the Add Fonts window Navigate to the “C:/Fonts.com” folder where you extracted the fonts in Step 2

  5. Double click to open the font folder
  6. Select all
  7. Click OK
  8. You should see the Install bar working
  9. Now your fonts are activated for use in all your Windows applications
