Typeface designer Gerard Unger named his Vesta™ and Big Vesta™ typeface families after the Temple of Vesta in Tivoli, Italy, which dates back to early first century, B.C. Unger’s design also incorporates nuances from French sans serif typefaces from the 1940s and 50s.

Lab Sans Pro July 2011
Lab Sans Pro is the first project by Tiponautas, an international type designers collective founded by Luis Alonso (Spain), Charlie Zinno (Argentina) and Ricardo Santos (Portugal). Luis Alonso and Ricardo Santos started to work on this project in September of 2009 with an experimental aim, but with the idea of creating a versatile and functional geometric sans-serif typeface.
