Designed for Adobe by Robert Slimbach, the Minion™ font is based on classical old style types from the late Renaissance period, but were created with current technology in mind. Rigidly straight lines and sturdy strokes give the Minion font design a gracefulness that transcends the ages.
Spanning four weights - regular, medium, semibold and bold, each with an accompanying italic, the Minion design also includes condensed versions of each weight. Rounding out the family are the many ligatures, oldstyle figures, swashes, and other added glyphs that make it one of the most elegantly versatile font super families available.
