First released by Adobe in 1992, the Myriad™ design has become a popular choice for both text and display composition. Now available as an OpenType® release, the Myriad Pro design has extended Myriad's already considerable reach by adding Greek and Cyrillic glyphs, as well as old style figures.
The Myriad font family includes condensed, normal, and extended widths in a full range of weights. Subtle but purposeful treatment of letter proportions, along with clean, open shapes and extensive kerning pairs ensure that Myriad Pro retains a comfortable level of readability accross all of its variants.
Creative professionals will appreciate the wide range of applications to be found in this one family. From large point-sizes in display or headline use, down to the smallest of text sizes, each weight of Myriad functions perfectly well on its own. But its at its most powerfull when the different weights and widths are used in conjunction with each other. That, above all else, is the nature of a true Super Family. And Myriad Pro fits that description to a tee!
