Am I eligible to become an Fonts.com Affiliate?
If you have a Web site of your own that is live at the time of your application, you are welcome to apply. We review each site carefully, both before and after it is approved. We do reserve the right to refuse to approve a site or to revoke a site's membership at any time if we deem it contains or links to objectionable material. Examples of objectionable material include, but are not limited to: pornography, explicit language or content, violence, hate speech, promotion of illegal activities, violation of intellectual property rights or laws, and material that is defamatory or libelous, defamatory or disparaging. We also reserve the right to refuse or revoke membership to sites with little or no original content, or that are no longer live. Employees of Monotype Imaging, Inc. and their immediate families are restricted from joining the affiliate program.
My site is based outside of the US. Can I become an Affiliate?
Yes. Fonts.com serves customers around the globe.
What does it cost to be an Affiliate?
Nothing. You will never be charged a fee for your participation.
How does the Fonts.com Affiliate Program work?
We provide you with buttons and banners to link your site to Fonts.com. When a customer is directed from your site and makes a purchase on Fonts.com, you earn a 15% commission. Joining the Fonts.com Affiliate Program is a simple and exciting way to make your Web site more profitable.
Fonts.com handles all of the heavy lifting. We process the orders, make the fonts available for download, and provide customer service and support. Best of all, you don't have to be an accountant (or hire one) to join! Our centralized reporting provides sales totals and site traffic reports. At the end of the month, if you've accumulated at least $25 in commissions, you will receive a commission check for the sales you referred to our site.
How do I keep track of the revenue I've earned?
Our commission tracking system, provided through a trusted third party, keeps a running tab of the referral bonuses you have earned. You can logon 24 hours a day, 7 days a week to check your account. Fonts.com also provides a variety of reports detailing the traffic and sales from your site.
How do you track and credit orders and commissions credited to my site?
All links from your site to ours include a unique ID. This ID allows us to identify customers coming from your site and to credit you when they make purchases. All sales made by these customers within the same session will be assigned to you. It is essential that all links on your site be created according to the exact instructions we provide. If the links are not made according to these exact instructions, your sales (and your commissions) may not be tracked correctly.
What kind of support do Affiliates receive?
Fonts.com will provide you with the tools and support you need to make the most of your site. We process all orders, handle customer service, and pay your commissions. We will provide you with complete, detailed records of your sales and commissions, along with statistics on site-use and suggestions for maximizing your results with Fonts.com. How do I get paid?
Each month, if you have accumulated at least $25 in commissions, you will receive a commission check in the mail. If your commissions are less than $25, we will roll the amount into the following month’s commission check.
How much commission will I earn for sales that originate from my site?
We will pay you a 15% commission on all sales that occur during a linked session from your site to Fonts.com. We will not pay you a commission if we cannot track the link back to your site or if a customer accesses our site without using a link from your site. Commissions are based on net sales (less credits for returned goods, taxes (if any), duties, credit card fraud, and bad debt charges).
How can I check my sales and commissions records?
You can always check your sales, commissions, and site statistics. When you become an affiliate, will send you clear and detailed information concerning how to access your account and review your records.
Can I update my links whenever I want?
Yes. Update your Web site as you would normally. Your commissions will never be lost or reset.
Can I take Fonts.com orders on my site?
No. In order to provide optimal service to our customers and to accurately track your sales and commissions, Fonts.com must process all orders.
Can I buy products at Fonts.com through my own site?
Yes. You and anyone you know can purchase via your site. All completed sales will result in commissions for you.
