Tomi Haaparanta's irreverent sense of humor has a way of sneaking into his typeface designs. The Finnish designer has worked at several ad agencies and design studios, but finds his typeface designs to be among the most rewarding – and fun – projects he’s done.
Tangerine History
Tangerine is a light-hearted design for typographic chubby-chasers. Looking a little like the Michelin Man on steroids, Tangerine is visually substantial and alive with energy. Tangerine Book (this has got to be one of the heaviest “Book” weights in existence) belts out a message, while the Tangerine Open design sings a gentler song.
