Yutuki Midashi Mincho is a display mincho family based on a metal typeface made in the Taisho period (1912–26). Metal punches in those days were made one by one by dedicated craftsmen with gravers. Designed in a limited condition where they had to work in actual size and reverse, it is still highly regarded as the classic of mincho typeface designs. Yutuki Midashi Mincho works excellent in large-size use such as book cover or titles.
