Pura is font design with as little thought about tradition as possible, as the name implies it will become my purest design yet. I wanted to design a typeface, that would be a ¿linear Antiqua¿ without being just plain linear. So I gave the ¿linear¿ more contrast than befits that type of font. The font had to have very distinct letters. For example the capital ¿I¿ had to be distinctive from the lowercase ¿l¿ and so on. I wanted to design a good looking typeface, that still did not force itself on the reader. But judge for yourself! Your elegant type designer Gert Wiescher P.S.
