Am I eligible to become a Fonts.com Affiliate?

If you have a website that is live at the time of your application, you are welcome to apply. Each site is reviewed carefully. We do reserve the right to refuse to approve a site or to revoke a site's membership at any time if we deem it contains or links to objectionable material. Examples of objectionable material include, but are not limited to: pornography, explicit language or content, violence, hate speech, promotion of illegal activities, violation of intellectual property rights or laws, and material that is defamatory or libelous, defamatory or disparaging. We also reserve the right to refuse or revoke membership to sites with little or no original content, or that are no longer live. Employees of Monotype Imaging, Inc. and their immediate families are restricted from joining the affiliate program.

How does the Fonts.com Affiliate Program work?

We provide you with buttons and banners to link your site to Fonts.com (www.fonts.com). When a customer is directed from your site and makes a purchase on Fonts.com, you earn a 15% commission. If the referred customer purchases a 30-day Fonts.com Web Fonts subscription, you earn a 50% commission on the initial payment. If the referred customer purchases an annual Fonts.com Web Fonts subscription, you earn a 5% commission on the initial payment.   If the referred customer signs up for a free Fonts.com Web Fonts subscription, you earn $1. Joining the Fonts.com Affiliate Program is a simple and exciting way to make your website more profitable.

Fonts.com handles all of the heavy lifting. We process the orders, deliver the fonts, and provide customer service and support. Best of all, you don't have to be an accountant (or hire one) to join! Our centralized reporting provides sales totals and site traffic reports. At the end of the month, if you've accumulated at least $50 in commissions, you will receive a commission check or direct deposit for the sales you referred. How do you track and credit orders and commissions credited to my site?

Visitors from your site receive a tracking cookie, which allows us to identify customers coming from your site and to credit you when they make purchases. All sales made by these customers within the same session will be assigned to you.

Where can I get Affiliate Links?

Once you've signed up for the Affiliate Program and verified the sites you'll be linking to Fonts.com from, you can simply place natural (no tracking parameters) to Fonts.com on your site. Commissions are tracked automatically on our end based on referrals. Parameters are available for linking from sites to do not own such as Twitter, Facebook, etc.

Fonts.com will provide you with the tools and support you need to make the most of your site. We process all orders, handle customer service, and pay your commissions. How do I get paid?

Each month, if you have accumulated at least $50 in commissions, you will receive a commission check, direct deposit or PayPal payment. If your commissions are less than $50, we will roll the amount into the following month.

How much commission will I earn for sales that originate from my site?

We will pay you a 15% commission on all sales that occur during a linked session from your site to Fonts.com. We will pay you a 50% commission on the initial payment of any 30-day Fonts.com Web Fonts subscriptions, a 5% commission on the initial payment of any annual Fonts.com Web Fonts subscriptions or $1 on Free Fonts.com Web Fonts subscriptions that occur during a linked session from your site to Fonts.com. We will not pay you a commission if we cannot track the link back to your site or if a customer accesses our site without using a link from your site. Commissions are based on net sales (less credits for returned goods, taxes (if any), duties, credit card fraud, and bad debt charges).

How can I check my sales and commissions records?

You can always check your sales, commissions, and site statistics. When you become an affiliate, will send you clear and detailed information concerning how to access your account and review your records.

Can I update my links whenever I want?

Yes. Update your Web site as you would normally. Your commissions will never be lost or reset.

Can I take Fonts.com orders on my site?

No. In order to provide optimal service to our customers and to accurately track your sales and commissions, Fonts.com must process all orders.
