Ariel Sullivan
Ariel Sullivan is a Brazilian engineer with a passion for design, photography and film. “I'm from Oscar Niemeyer's old school: I like to combine beauty and function, but without frills, and, like Niemeyer, I don't die in love with straight lines,” he says. Instead of using sophisticated font design programs, he prefers a stylus and an iPad to draw. “The programs only appear at the end of the process. They are, of course, essential. But I like to make it look simple, as if I had drawn the glyphs on a paper napkin,” he explains. Riacho is his first typeface to be offered at MyFonts.com.
