The designer John F. Cumming created the fonts in 1898 and in 1879. Binner EF and Kismet are included in the Linotype Library. Kismet is a trademark of Heidelberger Druckmaschinen AG, which may be registered in certain jurisdictions, exclusively licensed through Linotype GmbH, a wholly owned subsidiary of Heidelberger Druckmaschinen AG.
