Sylvain Mazas was born in 1980 in Chambéry, France. After studying illustration in Paris and Strasbourg, he moved to Berlin where he finished his studies in graphic design. He then worked for 7 years at LucasFonts, where he specialized in Arabic type. He now works in Berlin as a freelance type designer, graphic designer and illustrator.
