The aim of the Pico pixel typeface was to create a pixel typeface which looked good at both small and large sizes. The result was a surprisingly versatile font; one that works as well in small spaces such as button graphics as it would in larger spaces such as a type centric logo.

For optimal use, please turn font anti-aliasing off and set at a size of 16px with image resolution set to 72ppi.

The latest version of Pico (1.300) includes a staggering 454 new characters (from 235 to 689)! This update includes support for south eastern European and all new Cyrillic, Hebrew, Greek and math characters. Latin characters and kerning have also been improved for legibility. Full Mac Roman and Windows 1252 character encodings are now supported.
