Born out of the deep reaches of Northeastern Oklahoma, the Fontry came to life in 1993. In a time when very few could survive without widespread exposure on the internet, we persevered by adhering to a simple strategy. As our peers focused on creating the next cool face they could sell for a few weeks or months, maybe even a year, we concentrated on thematic packaging that could withstand decades and beyond.
The Fontry’s work continues to be popular, marketable and deftly functional as the trends crest and wane. Are we a little old-fashioned then? Lost in an old thought pattern at times? Perhaps. But our font ideas have survived two decades and show no sign of faltering. Can’t argue with that.
