By Linotype

Corona is a newspaper typeface designed to withstand the degradation caused by high-speed printing. Corona is one of five typefaces known as the Legibility Group. Based on the traditional Ionic style with large x-height and vertical stress, the Corona font family is still used as a text face by some newspapers, mainly in America. Corona is a trademark of Heidelberger Druckmaschinen AG, which may be registered in certain jurisdictions, exclusively licensed through Linotype Library GmbH, a wholly owned subsidiary of Heidelberger Druckmaschinen AG.
