Big, bold and brassy – there is nothing delicate about the Monotype Script™ Bold typeface. It was first drawn as a machine-set typeface in 1931 by Fritz Stelzer, the designer of the Plantin® family. Loosely based on an old form of German handwriting called “Kurrent,” Monotype Script is, however, much bolder than the hand written letters.
