Bradley (originally named Bradley Series) was originally designed by Will H. Bradley. It is a pretty heavy blackletter design. Also in 1895, Hermann Ihlenburg at ATF created a Germanic-language version of the Bradley Series which was released under the name of Ihlenburg Series. It is based on very old manuscripts, however with plenty of new character forms. German designer Ralph M. Unger eventually revived this still very legible blackletter typeface for the digital era. He redesigned, completed and digitally re-mastered Bradley for the profonts library.
