Bernhard Script (originally Bernhard Schönschrift) was originally designed by German designer Lucian Bernhard in 1925/1928 for Bauersche Type Foundry in Frankfurt. It is a French-influenced non-connecting script with a small x-height and large lowercase ascenders. This typeface is his first testimony of his change of work from the boldness of his earlier work to more sophisticated delicacy.
