How Can I Export & Import My Web Fonts Into New Projects?
Before You Begin
The Monotype Library Subscription export feature allows you to export the fonts, selectors, and domains associated with a project, allowing it to be shared. Importing a project will overwrite any pre-existing selectors and font assignments from the original project. If your Monotype Library Subscription includes legacy features, you can also export and import selectors and allowed domains in the web fonts project.
To export the existing project’s font and selectors details
Locate the project you wish to export on the Manage Web Fonts page. Select the “Export Project” link located to the right of the project name, and copy the token provided.
To import font and selector details into a new project
On the Manage Web Fonts page, create a new project and select the “Import” link located to the right of the project name. You can also import the project into an existing project, however this will overwrite any pre-existing attributes of the project. Enter the token from the previous project. Click “Submit” to complete the import process. Fonts, selectors and domains should now be imported. Remember to publish your changes selecting the link “Click here to publish project” highlighted in yellow.
Final steps
After importing the project settings and publishing it, don't forget to update any necessary web pages to use the publish code from the new project instead of the old project.
