Why are my Web fonts returning 403 responses?
A 403 (Forbidden) response occurs when the request for the Web font file cannot be validated. This most commonly happens for one of the following reasons:
- The page's domain/subdomain has not been added to the Web font project's domain list
- The Web font project has not been published since the page's domain/subdomain was added
To resolve the issue, go to your project's details at the Manage Web Fonts page and verify that the domain list includes the domain/subdomain of the page you're viewing. Also make sure that the project has been published.
You can read more about adding domains at our best practices FAQ.
