Andreas Eigendorf

Born in Berlin in 1961, Andreas Eigendorf entered the font business in the sales department at FontShop Berlin in 1990 where he quickly moved to be the head of the technical department. Since leaving FontShop in 1995, he has been working as a freelance consultant and service provider for type foundries and type designers (FontShop International, Primetype, lettersoup). In 2002 Andreas Eigendorf initiated the web project "Unofficial FontLab/Python API Reference". In 2005 he introduced his latest invention: FontQA – a new font testing tool.
