Olga Umpeleva was born in Moscow, Russia, in 1984. She studied at the Moscow University of Printing Arts. She has worked with several companies including ParaType, Brownfox, and Art. Lebedev Studio. Olga now works as a freelancer in type design, calligraphy, and stone carving.
