Graphic designer since 1994, Olivier Gourvat established its own graphic studio Mostardesign in 2004 after having worked for 10 years in a certain number of agencies and publishing houses for big and small projects. Mainly focused on brand creation, custom type, illustration, advertising, the studio have worked on a wide variety of projects for worldwide clients. The work of the studio has been featured in books, magazines such as Advanced Photoshop, The Creative review, Design book of the Year, 1000 ideas by 100 graphic designers, Web design Index, Semi-Permanent, How Design,Technikart… Since 2009, the work of Olivier Gourvat have moved and is now mainly focused on typeface design and have created type families such as Sofia Pro, Interval Sans Pro, Unicod Sans and more recently Metronic Slab Pro. Olivier Gourvat says about type design, "I use my work experience and my knowledges in graphic design process to create unique and professional fonts to help designers and web designers create an effective communication for their projects." Olivier Gourvat consider that the versatility of a font is the first step on the way to the success of a good global communication.
