Rob Leuschke enjoys continued success as a lettering artist and graphic designer with emphasis on typography and hand-lettering. His work consists of design work for a number of products in multiple industries— social expression, advertising & visual communications, and multimedia. He graduated in 1981 with a Bachelor’s of Fine Arts (BFA) degree from the University of Missouri – Columbia with concentration in illustration and graphic design.
As a free-lance designer since 1987, he creates lettering and graphic designs for a variety of clients. Recent accomplishments include designing the logo for the Minnesota Wild of the NHL. In the early 1990’s he was commissioned by Anheuser-Busch Corporation to do a digital redesign of the A & Eagle logotype and corporate typeface. He has also digitized typefaces and logos for such clients as Pontiac (a project assigned by Maritz Motivational Company), and Enterprise Rent-A-Car.
Other clients include Franklin Mint, Bradford Exchange, A.G. Edwards, Proctor & Gamble, Hasbro Toys, and J. Walter Thompson Advertising. He has had a number of projects for international clients located in, Canada, Finland, Germany, The Philippines, and the United Kingdom and has taught calligraphy workshops on an international level.
With a personal library of over 200 fonts he has designed over the years, Rob began making his font designs available online in 2003. Rob has two children and lives in the middle of the United States, in St. Charles, Missouri.
