Victor Lardent

British advertising designer and draftsman at The Times, London, who drew Times New Roman under Stanley Morison’s direction. In recent years Mike Parker has unearthed evidence showing that the famous design was probably not the original work of Lardent and Morison, but of the American yacht racer and designer, Starling Burgess.
