Malgun Gothic

The Malgun Gothic™ typeface family is a set of modern style Korean fonts from Microsoft. The regular and bold weights were designed by Sandoll Communications and hinted by Monotype, with an alternative Segoe lettering style in the Latin character range. Malgun Gothic's design is streamlined with well-regulated strokes, open counters, and even spacing to optimize legibility in user interfaces and create the best on-screen reading experience possible. Malgun Gothic first appeared in Windows Vista and has been updated to this new version 6.50 containing 21,643 glyphs with support of the KSC5601 and KS X 1001:2004 character sets.
